Card Pro Grading Inc. (CPG) was founded by lifelong collectors and industry veterans with more than 50 years of combined experience in the trading card and memorabilia hobby. 

Our story began in 1988, when we opened our first retail hobby store in Anaheim, California — right across from Angel Stadium on State College Boulevard. Surrounded by the heart of Southern California sports, we grew alongside generations of collectors who shared our passion for authenticity, trust, and the thrill of the hobby.

Over the decades, we’ve had the privilege of conducting autograph signings with some of the greatest athletes and celebrities in the world, including Joe Montana, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Dr. J, Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson, Hulk Hogan, Shaquille O’Neal, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Bo Jackson, Chevy Chase, Dennis Rodman, Bryce Harper, Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts, Roger Clemens, Jose Canseco, Nolan Ryan, Earl Campbell, Roger Craig, Dwight Clark, Rod Woodson, and many more. These experiences have deepened our respect for the legends who inspire collectors and the memories they create.

Today, CPG combines that same passion and integrity with modern technology to deliver accurate, consistent, and transparent grading for sports cards. Every CPG-graded card represents our lifelong dedication to protecting collectibles, preserving history, and supporting the hobby we love.
